Then Manna Ministries is the answer! Manna Ministries buys food wholesale from local distributors and resells it in prespecified groupings at a fraction of the what you could but it for. This program is open to every one, regardless of their income or other circumstances. There are no qualifications to meet. Each person pays for their own order at the time the order is placed. This is NOT a charity program – it is just a helping hand for all of us who want to participate. It is great for those on a fixed income as well as for anyone who wants to save money on their groceries and still eat well.

 

A box of this food costs $29 and is designed to feed a family of four for about 1 week. The same box would cost over $50 if purchased from a grocery store.  Each month there is a main menu box and some monthly Specials.  Any combination can be ordered, a menu box and a special or simply 1 or more specials.  There is no limit.  Often additional items are added to the menu box at no extra charge.  These add-ons consist of items like bread, vegetables, or fruit.  

 

Kevin and Beth Comerford have been working with this program in the Canyon area for the past 5 years. Orders can be placed by calling Beth’s cell phone 681-7963. Or their home phone at 655-5319. We also accept email orders provided there is a valid phone number for the person ordering at canyonmanna@suddenlink.net.  All orders must be paid for at the time the order is placed. The deadline for ordering is listed below. 

Food stamps are accepted, but require special handling and will need to be mentioned at the time the order is placed.
